Ryan is living every artist's worst nightmare - having lost his ability to create and succumbing to addiction, he panhandles on the streets to make ends meet. Through the use of computer-generated characters, Landreth interviews his friend and colleague in an effort to shed light on his downward spiral.guibarhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08658475510585036043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4877751718654565912.post-53452029047950246412008-12-04T10:55:00.004+01:002008-12-04T11:05:27.209+01:00Minuscule - La Vie privée des insectesMinuscule is a growing collection of short animations that follow the day-to-day existence of insects.
Absolutely worth watching. The record is filled with hopelessly romantic and melancholy tunes. Perfect for those cold autumn days. I just saw this last Sunday, a brilliant film on Bobby Sand's hunger strike in the early eighties. McQueen portraits the Maze, the prison where IRA captives were held, with almost no dialogue, but with loads of impressive and nauseating images.
